PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) (hereinafter referred to as “BTN” or “We”) is committed to safeguarding your Personal Data in connection with the use of banking products, services, and/or facilities offered by BTN. BTN strives to implement best practices and policies to ensure your privacy and protect your personal data in accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations in Indonesia

When processing the Personal Data of Personal Data Subjects, BTN has the following objectives:
- Customer Registration, Identification, and Verification: To register, identify, and verify your identity to comply with the Know Your Customer (KYC) principles when processing your application as a customer, client, and/or service user
- Account Management and Banking Services: To manage your account(s) and provide you with banking services.
- Credit Checks and Due Diligence: To conduct credit assessments, background checks, or due diligence as required by applicable laws, regulations, or BTN's internal policies
- Fraud and Financial Crime Prevention: To prevent fraud and financial crimes that could harm BTN, you, and other third parties
- Handling Inquiries and Feedback: To address your questions, feedback, complaints, responses, and suggestions regarding BTN's products and services
- Service Evaluation and Enhancement: To continuously evaluate and improve BTN's service features
- Service Personalization: To personalize the facilities and services provided to you, including loyalty programs
- Regulatory Compliance: To comply with all obligations stipulated in applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and other binding and effective provisions
- Administrative Purposes: For internal or external administrative needs, including audits, data analysis for product testing and/or development, examinations, and reporting to Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and BTN archives
- Professional Consultation: To seek professional advice, including legal counsel
- Marketing Purposes: To support the marketing of services and products offered by BTN, including sending promotions, new product information, news, surveys, and service updates through phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and other communication channels
- Banking Service Analysis: To analyze your banking service needs and, with your consent, offer products, promotions, and process requests and/or transactions for products/services from third parties collaborating with BTN
- Legitimate Business Interests: For other legitimate purposes in accordance with BTN’s internal policies, executed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

What Personal Data We Collect and Process
BTN collects and obtains Personal Data both directly and indirectly through electronic and non-electronic media
The personal data collected and processed by BTN may be provided directly by you or obtained from third parties (e.g., when you register or use banking services, and BTN requires data for Know Your Customer (KYC) and fraud prevention purposes). BTN collects Personal Data in various forms in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia
The personal data we collect and process includes, but is not limited to:
1. General Personal Data:
- Identification Information: Data found on identification cards, such as identification number, full name, gender, religion, address as per the identification card, place and date of birth, and nationality.
- Employment Details: Job title, work history, position, company/business name, office/business phone number, duration of employment/business, business income or salary, and benefits received.
- Contact Information: Email address, home phone number, mobile phone number
- Residential Address
- Mother's Maiden Name
- Signature Specimen
- Educational Background
- Company Internet Protocol Address and Email Address
- Assets and Employee and Company Data, including Beneficial Owners
- Combination of Personal Data: Used to identify an individual, such as a combination of mobile phone number, geolocation, and internet protocol address
2. Specific Personal Data:
- Biometric Data: Unique individual identifiers, including but not limited to facial images, fingerprints, and voice recordings
- Financial Details: Such as income, expenses, and/or transaction history.
- Taxation Information: Including Tax Identification Number (NPWP) and/or details of taxes paid, as well as insurance information
- Customer Risk Profile Information: Investment details, investment objectives, knowledge and experience, business interests, and assets
- Other Data: As required by applicable laws and regulations
3. Personal Data Generated from the Use of BTN Services:
- Technical Processed Data: Such as location assessments and advanced profiling
- Service Usage Information: Information obtained from your banking service activities, such as bill payments, profiling, and segmentation
4. Personal Data from BTN Subsidiaries, Affiliated Companies, and/or Other Third Parties

Processing of Personal Data of Children and Persons with Disabilities
In certain circumstances, BTN may collect Personal Data of children under the age of 18 with the consent of the child's parent or guardian, as well as Personal Data of persons with disabilities, with consent provided by the person with disabilities and/or their guardian in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Your Rights as a Personal Data Subject
a. Your Rights Include:
- Access and Obtain a Copy of Personal Data: You have the right to access and receive a copy of your Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Correction and Update of Personal Data: You may complete, correct errors, and/or update your Personal Data that is collected and processed by BTN.
- Request for Information: You are entitled to receive information regarding the clarity of identity, legal basis, purpose of collection and processing of Personal Data, and the accountability of parties requesting your Personal Data.
- Termination, Deletion, and Destruction of Personal Data: You can request to terminate processing, delete, and/or destroy your Personal Data collected by BTN, as long as it does not conflict with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Restriction and Refusal of Data Processing: In certain circumstances, you have the right to delay, restrict, or refuse the processing of your Personal Data.
- Receive Information in Electronic Format: Under certain conditions, you may receive specific information you have provided in an electronic format.
- Object to Automated Decision-Making: You can object to decisions solely based on automated processing, including profiling, that may have legal or significant impacts on you as a Personal Data Subject.
- Claim Compensation for Data Processing Violations: You are entitled to file a claim or receive compensation for any violations related to the processing of your Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

BTN may refuse to exercise your rights in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
c. Access to Withdraw Consent
You may withdraw or modify your consent for the use of your Personal Data that you have previously provided for optional data processing purposes, such as marketing activities through personal communication channels, including phone, email, and WhatsApp

d. Access to Correct Personal Data
To update your Personal Data, please visit the nearest BTN outlet. At this time, changes to personal data cannot be processed through BTN Call

Personal Data Storage
BTN is committed to storing your Personal Data with the highest level of protection for as long as necessary to provide banking services. Some of your Personal Data may also be managed, processed, and stored by third parties collaborating with BTN to ensure seamless banking services while adhering to access obligations and effectiveness in compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements.
BTN will retain and process your Personal Data as long as needed, aligned with the purposes of data collection and processing, while strictly following applicable laws and regulations.
If your Personal Data is no longer required by BTN for business or legal purposes, including when the data retention period has expired, BTN will take the necessary steps permitted by law to cease storing such Personal Data.

Processing of Personal Data
BTN is committed to not selling, trading, displaying, announcing, transferring, distributing, and/or disclosing any Personal Data or information related to customers and users of BTN services.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Personal Data and ensuring the security of the devices you use to access BTN services from unauthorized individuals. You acknowledge and agree that the Personal Data collected by BTN, along with relevant associated information, may be disclosed to other parties under the applicable laws and regulations regarding banking and personal data protection, strictly limited to the following circumstances:
- For Legal and Regulatory Purposes: To comply with applicable laws and/or respond to ongoing legal processes
- To Protect BTN and Related Parties: Including BTN employees, third parties collaborating with
BTN, you, others,

legitimate interests under personal data protection laws, particularly in contexts such as:
- National security.
- Law enforcement processes.
- Government administration.
- Financial services, monetary supervision, payment systems, and financial system stability.
- Processing aggregated data for statistical and scientific research in government administration.
- Government-declared emergency situations. - For Examination and Audits: To facilitate legal interests in internal or external examinations, audits, and/or digital forensics concerning regulatory or policy violations within BTN and its affiliated companies
- For Legal Proceedings: When necessary in connection with legal processes involving BTN, its officers, employees, affiliates, and third parties collaborating with BTN
- To Enforce BTN's Rights: To establish, execute, protect, defend, and enforce BTN’s rights
- When processing Personal Data with affiliated companies and third parties, BTN will take appropriate measures to protect your Personal Data. This will be executed following a cooperation agreement and a confidentiality agreement, adhering to applicable regulations and legal requirements

BTN is committed to protecting your Personal Data related to the use of banking products and/or services offered by BTN from unauthorized access, collection, processing, analysis, storage, disclosure, modification, and deletion.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Personal Data, including information such as your username, password, email, PIN, CVV and CVC numbers, OTP codes, and any other sensitive information. Do not share this information with anyone under any circumstances. You are also obligated to ensure the security of the devices you use and to take responsibility for their safety

In the event of any discrepancies between the Indonesian and English versions of this Privacy Policy, the Indonesian version shall prevail.
