Code of Ethics and Gratification Anti Corruption Policy

BTN has conducted a policy in the form of a Joint Decision Letter of the Board of Commissioners Number 01/SKPB/KOM/BTN/2024 and the Board of Directors Number SKPB-01/DIR/BTN/2024 concerning the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct (Code of Conduct) of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk.

The Code of Conduct outlines ethical standards and behaviors for the Company as a business entity and all its elements in interactions, both internally and externally, with various stakeholders. The business ethics standards include:

  • Ethics between the Bank and Employees

  • Ethics between the Bank and Customers

  • Ethics between the Bank and Goods and Services Providers

  • Ethics between the Bank and Competitors

  • Ethics between the Bank and Business Partners

  • Ethics between the Bank and Government/Regulators

  • Ethics between the Bank and Society

  • Ethics between the Bank and the Mass Media

  • Ethics between the Bank and Professional Organizations

The standard behavioral policies include:

  • Employees must always avoid conditions, situations, or impressions of conflicts of interest and misuse of position.

  • Every member of the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, and bank employees is prohibited from giving or receiving anything for personal gain, either directly or indirectly, from business partners that could influence decision-making.

  • The Company is committed to conducting fair and ethical business competition in accordance with laws and regulations. The Bank avoids monopolistic practices, provides equal opportunities to all business players, and encourages sustainable business innovation while complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • The Company’s organs and Bank employees must comply with all laws and banking regulations.

BTN has also established policies that serve as guidelines for implementing the Company's gratification control through Special Policy Number KK.6-A regarding Gratification Procedures and Technical Guidelines Number PT.6-A.1 regarding Implementation Guidelines for Gratification. As an initiative to support Gratification Control, these policies regulate the following matters:

  • Gratification Control Activities

  • Categories of Gratification

  • Gratification Reporting Mechanism

  • Documentation, Reporting, and Supervision of Gratification
