The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a loan agreement of 7 billion Japanese yen with PT Bank Tabungan Negara Persero Tbk (BTN) in the Republic of Indonesia through Sector Investment and Financing Private (PSIF). The aim of this loan is to promote housing loans for the lower middle income segment in the country.
Bank BTN is committed to always helping the lower middle income segment to provide livable housing. Apart from that, Bank BTN together with 45 other banks participated in providing a Sustainability-Linked Syndicated Term Loan Facility with a total disbursement of USD 700 million for infrastructure development.
The Bank has also distributed IDR 4.9 Trillion to 11 Corporate debtors in the form of construction credit, investment credit, working capital credit, corporate loans and term loans with the underlying form of Corporate Credit Distribution to support Environmentally Friendly Buildings that Meet Standards or Nationally, Regionally or Internationally Recognized Certification in the form of a Green Building Certificate and TOD Building, Corporate credit distribution to support the operational needs of the biological natural resource management sector and sustainable land use, Corporate Credit Distribution to support renewable energy development projects in the form of PLTS , Corporate credit distribution to support the accelerated development of electricity infrastructure outside of coal and its derivatives, and Corporate credit distribution to support the SPAM (Drinking Water Supply System) project.
