IFG LifeCHANCE
An insurance product that provides benefits if the Insured is first diagnosed with a critical illness. With benefits of up to IDR 2,000,000,000,-, the Insured can determine the critical illness category themselves according to their needs.
IFG LifeCHANCE is a product of PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG Life, which is licensed and supervised by the Financial Services Authority. Therefore, the IFG Life Protection Platinum product is NOT a Bank BTN product and Bank BTN is not responsible for the policies issued by PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG.

Insurance Benefits
- If during the Insurance Period and the Waiting Period has passed, the Insured suffers or is diagnosed for the first time as suffering from one of the Critical Illnesses/Critical Conditions as stated in the List of Critical Illnesses/Conditions, and the Insured believes and knows for the first time that there are signs or symptoms of a condition that may be related to a Critical Illness after the Policy Effective Date, the Insurer will pay benefits in the form of Sum Insured as stated in the Policy.
- Payment of IFG LifeCHANCE Insurance Benefits will refer to the List of Critical Illnesses/Conditions suffered by the Insured:

Early Stage | If the Insured is diagnosed with one of the Critical Illnesses/Conditions in the early stage group, 50% of the Critical Illness Sum Insured will be paid. | |
Intermediate Stage | If the Insured is diagnosed with one of the Critical Illnesses/Conditions in the intermediate stage group, a maximum of 100% of the Critical Illness Insured will be paid. | |
Late Stage | If the Insured is diagnosed with one of the Critical Illnesses/Conditions in the late stage group, a maximum of 100% of the Critical Illness Sum Insured will be paid. |
Payment of IFG LifeCHANCE benefits as in point 2 above, if the benefit payment has reached the maximum limit then the coverage ends, unless the Insured chooses additional Multiclaim and/or Angioplasty benefits.
Additional benefits can be selected to complete protection for the Insured with a maximum total benefit to be paid of IDR 2,000,000,000,-, according to the following options:
Claim | Description | |

Multi-claim | The insured can make claims in each disease category either in category 1 (cancer), category 2 (function and vital organs), category 3 (cardiovascular), category 4 (nervous system and brain), and/or category 5 (other serious illnesses) with a maximum sum insured of 100% in each category. Once the maximum Sum Insured in each category has reached 100%, the coverage for that category ends. | |
Angioplasty | Angioplasty and other invasive procedures for coronary artery disease at 10% (ten percent) of the Insured Sum. If the Insured is diagnosed and requires Angioplasty or other invasive procedures for coronary artery disease, an additional benefit of 10% (ten percent) of the Sum Insured will be paid. This additional benefit will be valid for 1 (one) claim with a maximum benefit to be paid of 10% (ten percent) of the Sum Insured per Insured. |

Prospective Policy Holders are obliged to pay Premiums to the Insurer in accordance with the amount of Premium and method of Premium payment as stated in the Policy

Premium payments are considered valid if the funds have been received in full by the Insurer

Prepare claim documents, fill in completely and sign the claim submission form

The claim submission form can be downloaded via the official IFG Life website/media

Send all claim documents according to the claim submission requirements to the Insurer's office or you can directly visit the Walk in Customer & Insurer's Representative Office or nearest BTN Branch Office

The insurer receives, checks and analyzes the submitted claim documents. To find out the status of the claim, the Policy Holder/Insured can contact the Call Center 1500 176 or the change number.

If the claim is approved, the claim payment will be paid by the Insurer no later than 14 (fourteen) working days after the claim decision is approved

If on March 1 2024 Miss A is diagnosed with early stage Cervical Cancer, then no Insurance Benefits will be paid because she is still in the Waiting Period (< 90 days).
If on July 28 2024 Miss A is diagnosed with early stage Cervical Cancer, an Insurance Benefit of 50% of the Sum Insured of IDR 250,000,000 will be paid.
If on September 2 2024 Miss A is diagnosed with late stage Cervical Cancer, then the Insurance Benefit will be paid in the amount of the remaining 50% of the Sum Insured of IDR 250,000,000.
If on December 28 2024 Miss A is diagnosed with early stage Kidney Failure, because there are multi-claim benefits, an Insurance Benefit of 50% of the Sum Insured of IDR 250,000,000 will be paid.
On December 31, 2024, Miss A's IFG LifeCHANCE Policy Coverage ends.
